Oiva, Kurre & Peura 25cl Mug Set of 2

This Marimekko gift set of two mugs features two different patterns: the Kurre (Finnish for 'squirrel') pattern and the Peura ('deer') pattern, both with golden metal pigment details. Because of the metal details, hand-washing these products by hand.

Extending Aino-Maija Metsola’s tales from the forest, the Kurre (squirrel) pattern presents a lively brood of squirrels collecting and hiding nuts – squirrels were a common sight in the designer’s childhood yard. The initial artwork was created on paper using a brush and ink.
And the Peura design features two white-tailed deer running among pine trees, leaping into the safety of the forest.

The set is packed in the Marimekko Logo pattern box.
