Chapeaux M Table Lamp

The Chapeaux M Table Lamp by Foscarini is characterized by its simplicity and reduction of materials to their purest form.‎ A transparent glass base that almost vanishes from view supports a luminous core and a freely placed metal diffuser that reflects light onto the tabletop, making it ideal for desktop lighting. 

Emitting both direct and diffused lighting, the Chapeaux collection features three different diffuser and a central cylindrical body. The base, crafted from borosilicate glass, is paired with a wide metal shade in red, ochre or grey. The light source, specifically developed by Foscarini to provide radial light, is housed in an opal polycarbonate shell, creating the luminous core of the lamp.‎ A small rod in brushed aluminium positioned at the top of the luminous ampoule is the touch dimmer to control the light.‎ The light intensity can be set at three different levels, combined with an on-off control switch.‎ The lamp’s memory conserves the latest dimmer setting when activated by a wall-switch.‎ The transparent electrical cord softly flows through the stem and emerges from the luminous volume thanks to a special opening.‎ White transformer on the plug.‎
