PK4 Lounge Chair

Designed by Poul Kjærholm for Fritz Hansen in 1952, the PK4 Chair looks as fresh today as it did then. Characterised by its architectural form of clean lines, PK4 combines a streamlined steel frame with a seat and back of natural halyard. Its minimal silhouette perfectly demonstrates Kjærholm's visionary approach, at the intersection of art and design.

The chair consists of two materials – one continuous thread of flag halyard and seven rods of steel tubing, welded into a unified frame. Offering the ultimate in both comfort and aesthetics, the PK4 Lounge Chair is sure to become the focal point of any contemporary living space.
