Ro translated in Danish means tranquillity, and that is quite simply what this chair achieves for those seated and the room around it. Designed by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon, for Fritz Hansen, the armchairs 'wings' allows the user to block out the outside world and become absorbed in a book, work or the comfort surrounding them.

Below the seat cushion on the base, there is a small logo and signature plate in satin brushed aluminium, hand-sewn on to the chair. The four smooth legs are made in brushed, cast aluminium. Each leg has nylon glides, suitable for the majority of floors. Ro lounge armchair is also available to order with a wooden base/legs in oak and leather or velvet fabrics.
