The Toru Toaster designed by Nendo for Alessi, focuses on the fundamentals, combining an elegantly proportioned form with polished stainless steel. In Japanese, “Toru” means “through”, so-called because of its distinguishing feature, the perfectly-curved handle, crafted from thermoplastic resin. Equipped with non-slip feet to ensure stability during use and an integrated device which cuts off power supply if there's too little water inside. The base of the kettle is thermally insulated allowing it to be placed safely on any surface. A removable filter retains any limestone particles formed inside the kettle. Fitted with a UK plug.
